25th June 2020 Craniosacral Therapy for Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder
This is a favourite topic for me. I have been treating children with autism and sensory processing disorder soon after I graduated from the Resonance Training (UK). It all started when I met Fezia Tyeballiy in one of the Upledger trainings in Singapore. My first client with special needs was Amir. I was clueless on how to go about treating Amir. I closely followed Becker's 3 steps - seeking, settling, reorganisation to a state of balance. I travelled Kuala Lumpur regularly for two years to work together with Fezia. Under Fezia's guidance, I gain confidence working with children with autism, sensory processing disorder and cerebral palsy. We also travelled to Indonesia, HongKong, and China working on children with autism and special need. We began teaching parents on how to do Cranio SelfCare4Health for themselves and their children.
Since then there have been more and more studies on the effectiveness of Craniosacral Therapy for children with autism, sensory processing disorder and cerebral palsy.
